If you are a resident of California, or want to privately own real or personal property in California, please stop here and click on the CALIFORNIA tab at the top of this page.
Outside of California, I often recommend the New Mexico Limited Liability Company as a simple means of owning real and personal property while maximizing personal privacy. Laws are changing swiftly with respect to LLCs used for privacy purposes, so this may not be an appropriate tool in your state or county.
I can prepare custom Articles, Operating Agreements and Written Consents allowing authorized persons to take actions on behalf of an LLC, such as titling or selling property, registering or selling vehicles, or opening/closing financial accounts.
If your objective is to run a business with your LLC, then you may need a range of services. As always, I recommend you have a relationship with a local attorney and CPA. I can then consult your professionals directly on methods for maintaining your privacy. If you don’t have an attorney, I recommend establishing a relationship with a local estate planning attorney who has a good reputation in your community. Privacy concepts most easily blend with estate and business succession planning.
